The Trinity Trojans made it to the State Championship in San Antonio, TX. We took a road trip to show our support. Wendy, Mark, and Alex left on Friday afternoon and I left bright and early Saturday morning. The Trojans were playing Ausin Westlake. Since our sister and her family live in Austin, TX, they came to show their support for the Austin team. The were dressed in all their "Westlake" gear, even a painted on "W" on Bryce and Grace's cheeks. The Trojans ended up beating Westlake 41-38 in overtime. Yea Trinity! This is their 3rd State Championship in 5 years. Way to go boys!!
An HEB tradition, Santa and his friends arrived by helicopter at 8:45am at Midway Park Elementary School. He makes a stop at every Elementary School in HEB each Christmas. The students always enjoy bundling up and going outside to wait for the arrival of Santa and his friends.

This is the Christmas Tree in my classroom. I experienced a special Christmas feeling this morning as I sat in my classroom with a small lamp lighting up my classroom. I had Christmas music playing in the background and looking out the window, which was right next to my Christmas Tree in the room, watching it snow. It was great! I felt tingly all over....definitely the Christmas spirit.
The Christmas "spell" I was in was quickly broken by screaming kids running up and down the hallway! Oh well, it was great while it lasted!
